1:40:  So we're helping you prepare for Lent this week.  Ash Wednesday is February 22.
2:00:  Mike surveyed some of his friends about the best and worst lent experiences.
3:00:  Fr. Damian tried to give up a certain food one year.
3:30:  Some other thoughts from FD on fasting experiences.
4:10:  What's Mike doing this lent....a bunch of things about being intentional about some choices.
5:20:  Here's a physical fast Mike wants to try.
6:20:  FD gives Mike a meditation and some advice from a PT.
7:10:  Good to think about these things in advance.
7:30:   FD will give up something he usually does each year but, then a second thing.
9:50:  We have some reflections on coffee.
12:40:   Mike wants to increase his reading and FD agrees that reading is a great experience and good for the soul.
13:50:  Mike just read Firehouse by David Hallberstam and will be reading Flannery O'Connor's short stories over lent along with Bob Wicks Night Call and a few other selections. 
14:30:  Mike interviewed Bob on his 5 Questions show.
15:30:   FD found a book thanks to Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.  It's a Biography   called Faith, Hope and Carnage, by Nick Cage and Sean O'Hagan.  Watch the f-bomb in the Flea interview.
17:00:  Great interviewers: Howard Stern and David Letterman.
